Masaki Ishino

Born in Yokosuka city, 1951.
He joined Yokosuka Symphony Orchestra as a trombonist while he was a prefectural Oppama high school student. In Tokai University, he majored in the musicology at the liberal arts faculty.
Afterwards, he was instructed direction method by the late Hideo Nemoto who is a permanent conductor of YSO. Mr. Ishino made his debut in 20th anniversary concert in 1976. He assumed regular conductor, at present, he is a musical director.
YSO has many arranged pieces, and most of them were written by him. He is well-known for the ability to analyze music properly and for making large-scale music. He is now the central person in YSO.
He also manages the concerts with the organizer and the hall. In addition, he often makes plans for concerts and so on. He is the man who is essential for YSO.
A lot of his writings include The Trumpet Famous Piece of Collection and The Orchestra Famous Melody Collection (Doremi Music Publishing publication and collaboration), etc.
